8/09/09 hi members! long time, no update. thats all my fault. Though theres not much to update . . . Well, now, VD has sort of a new site wide plot which was created a while ago, with new covens and werewolf clans and everything thats exciting. There are also a new set of canons, though i have yet begun to make the werewolf canons, sowwie. hmm. we have two new sister sites and congrats to the whole site for going over 2000 posts! I would also like to welcome the new members, and our loyal gamers!
Special mention goes to Bonnie and Angelina ( Angelina, Matt & Graham) as well as Aubrey Knight. You guys are awesome!
Even if you aren't mentioned, you should all know that i love you all. all my members <3
and go us, i think this is the most active the site has ever been in about . . . three years. yay

1/08/09 hey my loves , so, not much to update I think. The background has been changed again . there are also some small changes on thins like board titles, everything is in caps now! =D Also, i think everyone should check out 'the species' thread! It outlines all the rules for all the species we've just found our winners for august, so congrats to all of them ! And right now im in the midst of attempting to make some new images for the side bars . Also, id like to apologise to everyone. Im in a busy time of my life right now and arent able to do everything i wish i could do. Remember, that we do have global mods, so try to ask them for help too cause chances are, right now, im not going to be able to do much.
19/07/09 hey again guys, the newest things are that we now have a miniPod ! so if you have a song that you think relates niceley to VD, let me know and ill put it up ! Also, a new code has been put in which adjusts the size of font for the entire site! woo, and also, another code has enabled sub boards to be viewed without having to enter the board, which i think makes it alot easier to get to the threads you want to see .
17/07/09 hi guys. here are some changes that have occurred 1) all names are now in capslock 2) there are new member group colours, i hope you all like them. 3) Side bars became global instead of main. 4) New cbox, to match the sites colour scheme 5) The site has two global moderators, Cassie & Kiki. Remember that they can also help you with issues on the site and they are awesome at their job ! 6) Some new sub boards have been created in the 'General' board, to organise threads .
Umm, i think thats pretty much it !
08/07/09 Hey guys, a small update a specialised admmin account has been created, to avoid site confusion. but take note, the username for the account is 'me', not admin !
06/07/09 Wow, i havent updated this in a while, sorry guys =/. nothing much new has happened. We have new winners of the month, a new banner, we're getting more members and being seen more, but the more that happens it seems the less people come on the site .
So yeah, I haven't been able to do all that I want with the site cause i've been sick latley, and school just sucks. So give me a week or two and ill have that bloody university up and running .
And thats it for updates I guess.
ooh. Activity check on the 15th July ! just a heads up . remember, if you're ever gonna leave the site (temporarily or permanently) let me know in the absences thread so I don't delete you or go all admin on your ass .

29/04/2009: Firstly, the activity check just recently ended, but one shall be held within the next 3 weeks again. After this, members may be deleted if I see fit.
Secondly, '. . . .' of the month are being nominated and these nominations will end on the 31st. A vote will then be cast that will finish on the 2nd of May, so get your nominations in ASAP !
19/04/2009: There have been a few updates on the site:
1. I have placed a code on the site which gives every account a money count. Five dollars per post. I am not sure of how to implement this into the site as of yet, but if you have a good idea, let me know. Here are a few of my ideas:
- VD trivia threads with monetary rewards. - Money can be spent to purchase graphics from members of the graphic team. - Money could be used to purchase items from shops and make the board seem more realistic.
After money is used, i would take the appropriate amount out of your account.
If you are a member of the graphics team, you could put prices on graphics.
2. An activity check is being held from the 20th of April to the 26th of April. I will not be deleting members, this is just to show me who is active and who is not. An email will be sent out.
3. ‘. . . .’ of the month positions have been created which you all would have seen. Since there are no couples on the board yet, that position is not open. A vote will take place after the activity check.
4. There have been some changes to the application formats. If you wish to modify your application to suit the new one, be my guest.

Small thinks like controlling someones smallest action can be irritating! 5) also, activity check is up. so go post !
1) there is now a new position for humans as 'bloodwhores'. concept slightly taken from Vampire Academy, but i just couldnt think of another name for them. anyway look them up in the covens and clans thread!
2) look at for site wide events !
3) there is a new catergory, called the dark side. At the moment it only has two boards, taht are spurcus decor originted. ill be making some more soon for werewolves

hmm, not much to write im afraid, i just felt like telling you guys about all the little things going on =)
Firstly, we all know that halloween is coming up, however halloween on VD will begin on the 26th ! There will be a mass thread in the sapphire under the sub board titled 'This is halloween'. From that mass thread, characters can go off into their own indivdual threads . The threads will continue until they all start dyin gout, then halloween will finish .
Hmm, the playlist has been modified to play halloween songs. hope you guys like it (: . There is an anthropology class open, as well as another history class, so check those out. Also, there is a current ban on creating new female characters, or neutral vampires, as we have too many of those catergories.
And look at us VD, 129 members! nawww ! we're all grown up ! PLUS, its VDs fourth birthday in a couple of months! yay !
hmmmmm. costume claim is still open, and will remain open until the 26th. also, a few days ago VD was spammed. Someoen created an account and used it purley to advertise their own vampire diaries board by sending other members private messages. If anyone received tihs pm, please notify me as im trying to get up a tally, and also, that person has been banned from VD. I know no one on here is dumb enough to do someting like that, but if i catch you out, so blatantly advertising your board over pms and such, you will get punished. Thankfully, we have good members here who use the site showcase woo.

Well guys, another month has started at the Vampire Diaries, and im so proud and happy to see that we're still going on strong. Kudos. woo. Thankyou to everyone who has remained active and posted their assess off, i love you all so much.
So here are the updates:
Firstly, Halloween is officially over on the Vampire Diaries, I have taken down the banner, changed the month and all in active halloween threads are going to be locked. If your halloween thread is still beingused however and i have locked it, just shoot me a pm and ill un lock it .
oh by the way children, we are now in december and in WINTER. yes. winter. cold cold cold cold. Expect extremely low temperatures of 15 degrees celsius too 20 degrees celsius. Yup. your all gonna freeze your balls off.
new spotlights of the month are up, for december. For the mean time, as I am so busy lateley, i am merely going to pick winners based on what i have seen on the board in stead of peoples preferences. So i hope you guys all trust my judgement. I take this moment to say congrats to Mark and Mia. Thankyou Mark for being an awesome member, ever since you arrived. And thankyou Kali, for creating the awesome character of Mia <3.
Hmm what else. OHH. i finally got around to creating the university last month. Woo. im not sure if ive said this before, but if your character is not a high school student and wishes to be in university, let me know. If i get enough people, I will create a whole new user group and assign that too people (:.
Everyone should also prepare themselves for some nice plottage fun. Just recently, a lovely fight thread was finished between Chiara and Luke. Go them (Y). Im hoping that everyone is going to go look at the new thread ive made in 'plot advertising', were spurcus decor and loups garous and other werewolves can discuss future fight threads and possible suprise attacks as revenge for what Luke did to Chiara.
Also, the female ban is off. But unfortunately, I have now banned Lone wolves. This board needs more Loups Garous werewolves, seeing as we only have 3. yup. three out of 155. Id love it if people stepped forward and asked to switch to Loups Garous, but i am in no way trying to force anyone to do that (:
