Evan walked into the lunchroom and looked around. It was crazy. He couldn't believe that after twenty years since high school that he was back. He kinda felt like a teenager again. At least he looked the part. Evan sat down at a random table in the lunch room. He looked at his lunch in disgust. He paid money for...for THIS?! Well..not like it mattered. He didn't prefer human food over blood. It all tasted like cardboard to him. He picked up his apple and looked closely at it. It kinda looked triangular. That's funny...

Aubrey Quickly walked into the lunch room and bought her food, if you could call it that, and went to her usual table to find it occupied, and not by Cahal like she had expected. No, it was the new music and Art class teacher. She had gotten the memo earlier that day about a new teacher and she had been trying to figure out the best time to introduce herself. There was no time like the present.
As she headed toward the table she noticed he looked a little young to be a teacher, more like one of her students. Oh well. Time to say hi. "Hello. You must be Mr. Nox our new teacher here. Im Aubrey Knight and I teach history. Normally Myself and Cahal sit here for lunch, so would you mind if we joined you?" She smiled at him, and only then did she realize she had called Cahal by his first name only. She was getting a little too friendly with him. When he arrived she would call him by his last name.

Evan looked up at her and smiled. He stood up and shook her hand."oh hey! You can call me Evan. No worries. You join me? Seems like I should be asking if I can join you,"Evan laughed, sitting down again.

Cahal began to walk brusquely to the lunchroom. He had been helping a student after class, and now he was late meeting Aubrey for lunch. This is so ill mannered of me. he thought to himself, ashamed. As he began to round the corner toward the lunchroom he tried to find her voice in the crowd with his special hearing.
"Hello. You must be Mr. Nox our new teacher here. Im Aubrey Knight and I teach history. Normally Myself and Cahal sit here for lunch, so would you mind if we joined you?"
As he heard his name, he couldn't help but smile. She was talking about him and this made him very happy. Not to mention the fact that she had called him by his first name. The thought of that made his golden eyes light up.
He frowned as he realized that he could not place the voice of who she was talking to. The voice didn't seem familiar. Oh well....I guess I will find out when I get there. He decided to himself.
As he approached the table he met Aubrey's eyes and smiled his warm, friendly smile. For a moment as he approached her, she was all he could see. "Miss." He said taking her hand and kissing it lightly, a very common gesture between a man and woman during his time. He looked into her eyes for a moment, getting lost, when he suddenly remembered that there was someone else at the table. He turned his friendly smile on the person and saw a young person covered in tattoos. He suddenly realized that this was the new music teacher. He held out a hand, in a handshake gesture. "Hello, I am Cahal. I am an English teacher here. You are the new music teacher, yes? It is nice to finally meet you." He said with a friendly, inviting smile.

When Cahal walked up and took her hand her heart started to melt. She got a little dizzy and light headed when he kissed it. It was just like him, like a true gentleman. Like what she was used to in her own time period. She shook her head a little, saving herself from getting lost in thought. "Cahal, this is Mr. Nox. I was asking if we could sit here." She realized that she had called him by his first name again, and silently berated herself. It was not proper....but she liked it anyway.

Cahal suddenly realized that Mr. Nox had been sitting here first and quickly made sure to add to Aubrey's comment. After all, he didn't want to be rude. He had always been taught that, and had taught that to Graham as a child too. "Ah, yes certainly. Well, Mr. Nox, what do you say? May we honor you with your presence?"
He looked down hopefully at the teacher, waiting for the boy's reply. As he did he froze. The smell came to him and he realized that this boy, too, was in fact a vampire. Now he had no problem with vampire's but he knew that others of his kind did. He made a note to himself to watch this boy and make sure that he is protected from the other werewolves in town at all times. For he didn't really know how old this boy was, but the fact that he looked so young made him want to protect the boy.

Evan watched the conversation pass back in forth in silence. The girl obviously liked the guy, but the guy was guarded. He couldn't read him. Ah, yes certainly. Well, Mr. Nox, what do you say? May we honor you with your presence?" the man, Cahal asked. "yeah no problem. Sit down," he said with a smile. Then something weird passed over the man's face, some knowing look. Evan wondered if he suspected him of something, or maybe he knew him from his past. Evan shifted uncomfortably in his seat. It was as if the man has now let the realization pass and then a softer look fell on his face, as if Evan was a dear friend of his that he had known for a long time. He didn't know how to take it. He just looked down at his food.

Cahal looked between all of them, and as the worry passed went back to his usual self. "I must have interrupted your twos lovely conversation. My apologies. What were you two talking about?" He asked sincerely. He wanted to just have a normal conversation with....seemingly normal people, though ironically no teacher at the table was actually normal.
He looked around and smiled, using his golden eyes and friendly aura to tranquil the scene and get everyone back to feeling at ease. All the while, not even realizing that he was still secretly holding Aubrey's hand under the table.
