Matt stood there for a moment, pinned against the wall listening to Damon speak passionately about Bonnie. SPEAK PASSIONATELY ABOUT BONNIE?!?! He sat there thinking about it for moment. ....Maybe he really does love her. But at the moment he thought it, a vision of what Damon had done to him and Elena in the forest that summer sent his anger and resentment right back.

"Leave Matt. For god sakes, Leave. Can you be civil?"

When Damon let go Matt stood back a moment studying Damon. "Whatever sick obsession with her, that you think is love, is not. You can't love Damon. You have no heart. And besides....I have seen what you do to the people you love." As he said this, the memory of that day in the forest came back to him again, and his fists began to again clench up. "And your not going to do that to Bonnie. Because if you do, this time, some way some how I WILL to kill you."
