Elena sat with her back against the rough bark of the oak tree that she leant on. Its rough tecture rubbed annoyingly across the back of her black lace shirt. At least she had been smart enough to wear her skinny dark jeans, though she probably shouldn't have worn those ankle boots with them. It had taken Elena a few tumbles on her way through the forest to learn that lesson.
So here she was now, in Lover's Lane at two in the morning, leaning against a very annoying tree, looking up at the bright stars through the high canopy of the treees. Elena snorted outloud. "What utter bullshit." She said, obviously to herself.
An owl hooted somewhere in the distance, and Elena smiled softly at the noise. So she wasn't alone out here. Even if she couldn't talk to an animal, and even though she couldn't see it from where she was sitting, it was nice to know that it was there. With this happy thought in her mind, Elena pulled out her ciggarette packet from the sleeve of her ankle boot. The shoe was so wide around her thin ankle that she could fit the packet in there, though it was a little uncomfortable.
Expertly, Elena lit the ciggarette from the lighter she kept in the pack and in haled deeply. Oh God bless nicotine. it was right what she needed, the hazy smoke flowing right through her nostrils and down her throat into her lungs. Smoking was something Elena had dropped when she met Stefan, but occasionally since meeting the vampire Oliver in the graveyard, Elena was craving more than she usually did. Its a shame the ciggarette was probably killing her. Elena smirked and once again inhaled from the ciggarette. Oh well.

She hadn’t meant to come here. It wasn’t her intention. She had no one to love, and certainly no boy liked her. Still, her feet led her up the winding path to the place called Lover’s Lane, and as she looked around, she could see what inspired the name – both by the people probably entangled in each other in the shadows, and the beauty of the place.
A tiny wistful smile entered Sam’s face then. Her own family hadn’t ever really shown much affection to each other. Certainly not her parents. When her mum wasn’t out working, trying to scrape by, her dad had been drunk wasting the money, so there wasn’t a lotta love in the house. “I wonder,” she muttered, “What it would be like to have someone care…”
For those that had always been on their own, perhaps the idea would be frightening, but to Samantha, oddly enough, it wasn’t. She leaned against a tree and watched a small, petite blonde enter, and light up a cigarette. Perhaps she’s here for the same reason I am – to think. She thought to herself. Well, might as well make a friend. Softly then, like a deer almost, did she come forward. “So,” her voice light and airy, “You’ve got a lot on your mind too?” She hoped so. Otherwise she might end up looking like a total fool.

Alexandria was gathering memories about Fell's Church. Oh, how so many of them. All of them having to do with the Salvatore brothers. Alexandria wasn't over them quite yet. She was wandering around Fell's Church around two in the morning. Awake as she had ever been. Alexandria pulled her short, lushious hair away from her face and turned onto Lovers Lane. But whom did she love? Why was she even there?
She turned to see that Elena girl that she seen or met somewhere and another girl, whom Alexandria didn't know her name. She walked closer to the two. She couldn't help but smile. "Hey, guys." She said smoothly. Alexandria smelt the blood inside the two and it was irresitable. She hasn't had human blood in ever so long. "What are you two doing out here at like two in the morning?" Alexandria smiled."I like your hair." She remarked on Elena. Alexandria patted Elena on the head. "I like your hair." She remarked on Elena. Alexandria patted Elena on the head. "Its so, blonde. The color Ive always wanted mine."]"Its so, blonde. The color Ive always wanted mine."[/color] Alexandria was getting no where. They probably thought she was some freak show or something.

Elena smiled at the new comer with red hair. "Hi." Before she had a chance to continue speaking however, she was approached by another female. Elena frowned at them both as she stubbed out her ciggarette on the damp grass. What were the chances of Elena meeting another strange vampire in a period of 2 days? Her frown deepened. "Hi." She said cautiously to the newcomer, trying to be nice and not to suscpicious as she glanced around her for any object that could assist her in bashing an attacker around the head. She recognised the first girl from around town, but the second girl was totally knew to her.
Elena felt the girls palm hit against the top of her head. She froze stiff. And the new girl was freaking her out now. Since, Elena's hair was brown. Elena had a frantic thought, what if the girl was an escapee from some psycho prison? Ok, maybe not, that was a bit far fetched, but Elena still felt slightly uncomfortable. She gulped loudly before looking up at the girl infront of her. "uhh . . . my hair is brown." She said, slowly standing up. "i'm sorry, but do i know you?" She asked her.
