iris smiled at beau shyly when he came and sat next to her, beau seemed nice, safe, and all together nice person to be around, he didn't act like a werewolf though which iris found odd..maybe hes new..that would suck..iris thought as she stared at him, being a new anything and being on your own could really be trying sometimes iris knew exactly what that was like.
..but for all iris knew beau wasn't alone and its not like she could just go 'hey are you a lone wolf or do you have friends?' they weren't close enough for that iris wasn't sure if they ever would be with irises guard being what it was and all he had asked a question about how she knew Aubrey so she politely responded
"oh..yea..shes my history teacher as well..shes really nice"iris said in her normal voice slowly becoming more comfortable.

Aubrey walked slowly over to where they moved. "Why thank you, and if you sit there I most likely won't call on you. Good choice." She noticed had Iris had let go of Beau's hand. Hmmm, maybe she would try making them partners in all the assignments. Help set them up as the schools newest couple.

"Ah, you have more than one class with her. That makes sense. Good to know that you have an idea as to how she teaches." Beau couldn't help but smile around Iris. He had a good feeling about her.
"So, you're smart, right? I just want to make sure I'm sitting next to someone who gets the right answers."
Beau pulled his bag into his chair and began to unload his belongings.
"Oh, and for some reason, I feel like I have to tell you that I'm new. I can't explain why." Beau had the words flashing through his head like a giant billboard, and he knew they wouldn't stop until he voiced them. It had been happening to him a lot lately. It was like that nagging feeling you get when you know you forgot to do something.

iris smiled at Aubrey and said "good..i hate being called on.." which was the truth, iris hated being called on to speak, it meant that people would be staring at her and then she would get embarrassed and it would be this whole big thing that would just lead to iris feeling stupid..now what was the point in that?
she turned from Aubrey to beau and smiled it seemed that couldn't help but smile at beau, he was that cute and his smile radiated like a beam of sunshine, it made iris feel warm and tingly but it wasn't exactly a fire..yet. he commented about whether or not iris was smart and she started to laugh a little bit.
"i guess im smart...well i believe i am, i get As pretty much all the time..is that smart?"she said mischievously grinning at him. she was playing with him and it was fun, it was true though, iris usually did get As, when your vampire stuck at eighteen, you did high school a lot so high school subjects were a breeze for her.
then beau said something weird..like he had stolen the thought right out of her head about him being new...odd..shed never heard of a mind reading werewolf and she hoped very much that he wasn't a mind reader..because then he would definitely know how cute she thought he was and iris blushed just at the thought of him possibly knowing.
"new...you mean like new to the school?" she asked quietly and nervously, she wasn't sure what he knew or what he knew she knew, her stomach did somersaults as she sat there waiting for him to respond.

Serenity rushed through the halls as fast as she could without getting caught for running in the halls. Why was she always late? Probably because she could never keep track of time...she should probably buy a watch. That would make more sense then trusting the clocks on the wall. Not that this time was her fault, she had bumped into someone in the hall and had to stop to pick up her stuff. Not that she would use that excuse. She entered the classroom and decided not to try and sneak in, seeing as there were only two other people in there. It would just be easier to appologize. "Sorry I'm late...won't happen again, promise" SHe said with a sheepish smile and then decided to find somewhere to sit.
She looked into the seats and saw Iris. She couldn't help but smile a bit. They were on their way to being friends again and she was truly trying to get them there. She was talking to another boy Serenity didn't know so she decided she wouldn't interrupt, she'd wait until their conversation would be over, to be polite. So, trying not to interrupt, she nodded a hello to Iris and then slipped into the seat behind her. Leaning onto her desk with her head on her hand and her elbow on the desk, she wondered what they would be learning in this class. She had never taken Anthropology before but the subject had seemed interesting enough so she woas curious.

"Honestly, I have no idea. I'm just...well, new in all aspects of the word." And there was that billboard again, except this time with the words "You're cute" flashing across it. Beau decided it was probably best to ignore this one. Beau had notice another girl walk into the classroom, while he was talking with Iris. He saw the girl smile at Iris, and naturally Beau decided it would be best to introduce himself. After all, he had a feeling Iris thought he was cute (this also brought a smile to his face).
"Oh hey. I'm Beau." He said and did a little wave to enhance his greeting. "And, between you and me, you're not late." Beau chuckled, and thought about how he had done the same thing earlier that day.

iris saw serrie come in and started smiling, she and serrie were starting to get back to normal and it made her feel good, better than she had felt in weeks as a matter of fact. iris was sitting with beau but she saw no reason why serrie couldn't come sit on the other side of her and engage in the conversation as well, but serrie had already nodded a hello and sat behind her so iris turned around quickly after beau greeted her and started to say hello
"hey serrie"iris said with a large smile "let me introduce you to my um friend beau here"iris said gesturing towards beau then turning partially back towards him because he was saying something
new in all aspects of the word?iris thought oh shit he knows what i was thinking..iris was simply terrified now and she was hoping that it wasn't showing outwardly if he knows what i was thinking hes got to know i was thinking about how hes cute..he could be reading it right now and know what im thinking...GAH iris thought she was freaking out now, she didn't know what beau would do that information now that he had it..she frowned only slightly but then he put the smile back on her face trying to appear calm and waited for either serrie or beau to respond.

Serenity couldn't help but blush when she was told she wasn't really late. Oh well, that was a good thing right? Even though she had just embarrassed herself, at the very least she wasn't late...again. Just because some dude had gotten in her way...she shook her head, but she smiled at the boy, Beau. "Well that's good, nice to meet ye Beau and between me and you, thanks" she said with a soft laugh, her Irish accent making an appearance as she spoke. She pushed her two toned bangs out of her face, trying to push back the encroaching shyness that was beginning to make a reappearance. "I s'pose that just means I need a watch, aye? I'm Serenity, by the way."
She smiled back at Iris and couldn't help but be glad that Iris had another friend. She had gotten sorta worried about that before...not that it mattered now. But she couldn't help but notice that Iris seemed a little flustered...Wonder why? Not that it's any of my buisness... She shook her head. It really wasn't, they weren't close enough yet to start sharing secrets and, though Serrie knew Iris's, she wasn't yet ready to share hers. "Hey Iris, I'm so glad you're in this class with me, makes it easier to have a friend, ye know?" She said happily, reinforcing that Iris was her friend, and making sure Iris realized that she truly was starting to think of her that way again.

"The pleasure is mine, Serenity." Beau looked down at his wrist. "You need a watch, eh? Here, take mine. I have a million and I was looking for an excuse to bother my dad for another one." Beau unclasped the thin, black leather strap and handed the watch to the new girl who had thought she was late for class. "Seriously. You should have it. You can put it to better use, I'm sure." Beau smiled and hoped that this gesture wasn't too awkward.
"Hey," He said to Iris, "Are you....blushing?" Beau laughed a bit because of the momentarily scared look that crossed her face and said, "There isn't anything to be flustered about, silly. It's just anthropology."

iris was still freaking out about how beau was able to read her mind when serrie started talking to her so she turned to her and listened happy to have serrie around but wishing she could tell serrie everything that was going on right now with her, serrie already knew irises biggest secret that she was a vampire, so she might as well be able to tell serrie about her boy trouble.
"im glad you here too i love having a good friend here other then beau of course"iris said smiling at serrie she was glad that they were becoming friends again, as a matter a fact she couldn't be happier about it. she turned back to beau ashe said something to her
he asked if she was blushing which naturally only made her blush more, she smiled feeling more embarrassed as he said it was only anthropology and iris just smiled and nodded
"its just a little hot in here that's all"she said lying.

Serenity felt the blush creep up her cheeks when Beau offered her the watch and put up her hand to try and politely fend off the gift. She needed a watch, it was true, but how could she accept it from someone she had just met. She frowned slightly. She felt like a charity case when things like this happened. True she didn't have the money at the moment to get her own but...she had her pride. She sighed when he insisted. Well it won't kill me I suppose....right? Shyly she took the watch from him and put it on. "Thank ye, maybe now I won't be late anymore, aye? And then I'd have you to thank, I s'pose" She said, keeping her voice lighthearted even though she wasn't sure she should have accepted the watch or not
She couldn't help but giggle softly when Iris said it was hot in here. Sure it was, Serenity didn't feel it at all and she was in layers, but she kept her mouth shut, putting her hand to her mouth to stiffle the giggles. Besides, Iris was her friend, and she was supposed to help her friends right? She rolled up the long sleeves to her black button down shirt that she was currently wearing over her plain tee-shirt. She didn't have to worry about anyone touching her really, Iris knew she didn't like to be touched and she didn't think Beau would. "You're right, it is a little hot in here." She said, rolling her eyes slightly at Iris with her bangs hiding her face from Beau to let her know she didn't really think it was hot at all.

Aubrey couldn't help but laugh at the kids. She changed he laugh into a cough quickly though, and headed back to her desk to wait for class to begin. They had a few minutes left still so she would let everyone continue talking. She got everything ready for class though, hoping that more students would show up, otherwise this would be a small class.

"So, ladies, I feel like the most lucky guy in the world. You two are beautiful, and sitting by me. I'm going to be the envy of every guy in the school." Beau looked at them. "You think I'm kidding, you just watch. Everyone will be talking about me in a few hours." Beau tried to hold a straight face, but he couldn't bare it for too long. He busted up in laughter. "I was just kidding about the whole playboy bit, but I'm very happy to have two friendly, beautiful girls such as yourselves around me." He smiled, and hoped they got his joke, otherwise that would lead to a lot of awkward glances, and a potential for them to move to the other side of the room. That would be depressing.
"Hey, teach, how many people are in this class? I'm curious as to when the rest of our classmates will get here. Maybe they'll all be late, and we'll get extra credit on our first day?" Beau winked at Aubrey, trying to suggest that she give them extra credit for being early.

Colin knew he was going to be late, but he didn't much care he flipped his hair to the side so now it hung right over his right eye and he messed with the cigarette that he had placed behind his ear, he had not intended to smoke it, but if he ended up getting into one of those moods he had been in lately then it would be more likely that by the end of the day it would be smoked and he sighed at the thought he didn't really like to do it but he had just been in that mood he shrugged then strolled into the anthropology class.
he saw the teacher and smirked, a half little smile, Colin very rarely fully smiled just a small little smirk was his signature he looked at her and said
"sorry if im late...couldn't find the room"he lied and walked further in trying to tone down his accent so the teacher wouldn't ask questions, he was not in a talking mood he walked toward a seat in the middle and saw the girl from the forest that day and smiled and winked at her before sitting.

Serenity blushed at what Beau said and resisted the urge to hid behind her hair and mutter that she simply wasn't beautiful. She didn't have much self confidence, that was just how she was. But she liked how he was trying to keep the mode light and recognized a joke when she heard one, "Well, meself I'm happy to have the two of ye with me as well." she said simply, deciding not to comment on the complement he had paid both her and Iris. She figured it had been focused on Iris anyway, considering that he seemed to like her.
And then a familiar face walked into the room and she had to fight to resist the urge to bury her face in her hands...barely. Why was he here? Hadn't she already embarrassed herself enough? It didn't matter anyway, she was out of the funk she had been when she had first bumped in to him and he wouldn't be interested in bothering this calmer version of her. She turned towards Iris and Beau, doing her best to ignore the boy and the way he winked at her. "I agree, extra credit sounds good to me. So how are the both of ye?"She knew her face was probably bright read and that it was probably obvious she was just trying to ignore the boy, but what could she do? She had never encountered this type of situation before!
